Delete your Scorizy account

In the app

1. Open the Profile tab, then Settings.
2. Tap “Delete my account”.
3. Type your username to confirm, then tap “Delete permanently”.

Without the app

Write to us from the account's email address, with “Delete my account” as the subject. We delete the account the same way and confirm it to you, within 30 days at most.

What is erased, right away

• Your email address.
• Your username, display name and avatar colour.
• All your sessions: you are signed out on every device.
• Your login codes and the IP address that requested them.
• Your friends and friend requests, sent and received.
• The links between your account and the guests other players had matched to you: they become plain guests again.

What stays, with nothing that identifies you

A game also belongs to the other players: it stays in their history. Your account is not erased row by row, it is anonymised.

• Your seats in games played with others, with their rounds and scores, shown as “Deleted player”.
• The games you were scoring, with the guest names you typed in them. Those still in progress are stopped.
• A random internal ID, your language, the account's creation and deletion dates, your XP, level and badges. None of it can be recovered or tied back to your email.

For how long

• Erased data leaves the database as soon as you confirm.
• It also leaves the database backups within 8 days at most: daily backups are kept for 7 days.
• Anonymised data stays as long as the games exist in the other players' history, with no time limit.
